Quality Assurance Technician – Split Shift or 2nd Shift


Ensures quality and customer satisfaction at the source on custom machined products through auditing, coaching/training and supporting production team members on statistical process control, inspection and measuring techniques. Inspects custom components and raw materials at various stages of the production process which is designed by individual work order requirements, work instructions and inspection plans.

  • Interpret specifications, engineering drawings, blueprints in collaboration with operations and engineering
  • Accurately complete essential and compliance paperwork
  • Assist in the process, think critically, analyze problems, troubleshoot and make decisions in a collaborative manner
  • Evaluate data and indicate conformance or deviations from existing standards
  • Intently focused on detail, internal processes and continuous improvement
  • Promote and support a safe work environment
  • Partake in life-long learning program
  • Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 certification requirements
  • Perform daily standard work and other job duties as assigned
  • Practical knowledge of SPC and various mechanical inspection equipment
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Use of Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and directed
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks quickly
  • Flexible with job assignments
  • Communicate effectively
  • High School Diploma and/or GED
  • Two years of experience and/or vocational schooling
  • Complete a written skills assessment
  • Stand for long periods of time, walk, push and pull < 25 lbs
  • Required to have fine motor hand dexterity
  • Sight, depth and visual perception needed
  • High concentration vital
