AccuRounds Celebrates 40 Years in Business and Recognizes First Employee

AccuRounds, an advanced manufacturing company located in Avon, MA, is celebrating 40 years in business this year. In 1976, Len Tamasi bought a company named B&F Swiss in Canton, MA. He relocated the company to the Avon Industrial Park and changed the name to AccuRounds. The company is known for machining of complex mechanical components.

In celebration of the occasion, AccuRounds held a company cookout and recognized one person in particular, Ricky Carr, who has been with AccuRounds since day one. Carr, a resident of Canton, was previously employed with B&F Swiss and stayed on for the transition. He is a recycling coordinator and takes great pride in his work. Ricky was presented with a monogrammed jacket as part of his gift to commemorate his years of service. “Thank you to everyone at AccuRounds for my gift of working there 40 years,” said Carr. “I love to work with my friends and hope to continue working there for a few more years.”

“As we celebrate our 40th Anniversary, we want to recognize Ricky for being a tremendous asset to AccuRounds,” said Michael Tamasi, President and CEO. “He’s been with us since the company was founded in 1976 and his commitment and work ethic is second to none. He is unselfish, a key player on our team....truly an MVP!”

Being employed at one company for 40 years is not very common these days. The dedication and loyalty that Ricky has shown AccuRounds is admirable. Certainly AccuRounds would like to celebrate 50 years in business with Ricky still by their side!
